I'm increasingly seeing people uploading images of players with the box that identifies their name and combat level. This is starting to become a problem and I'd like to see this practice stop.

One of the problems with having this box in images is it's often redundant in the article the image is contained in. All articles already list a player's name and most list a player's combat level. There's no reason that this info needs to be in the image as well.

Some people might argue that adding this box may help prove that the image actually contains a picture of the player in an article. This quite simple is not the case. Images are not considered reliable sources for information (as defined in Citing sources) unless they come from a reliable source themselves, as they can be photoshopped or taken from a private server etc. There's really no point in adding this box to images. Depends - If the pic is only the box (like the character is not shown), I then think we should delete it. If there's some character involved in it, I think we should keep it. It adds confirmation for players. Eg how would we know that character is Zezima without the person right clicking him. It also shows their title, which isn't really that important, but meh.
