John Pot is a great user who has made lots of helped revert plenty of vandalism. He has also contributed to several discussions in the Yew Grove, requests for deletion, and other community discussions. He also has experience closing discussions, e.g., Forum:"Read more...", Tyuijvhvh5 RfD, and Jellefish RfD. He is well equipped to close any adminship requests should the need arise. Questions for the nominee

1. What bureaucrat work do you intend to take part in?

I'd be available to promote users as necessary once they've undergone a successful request for permissions wherein consensus has been achieved. Although a great deal of power and responsibility comes with the bureaucrat right, I believe that I am trustworthy and would only use my tools as permissible by the policies and rules of the wiki.

2. What are your best contributions to the RuneScape Players Wiki, and why?

I tend to steer away from significant mainspace editing outside of somewhat menial changes such as correcting spelling or grammar, adding links/references and creating pages using a basic structural template. Instead, my contributions largely consist of stereotypical administrative tasks - vandalism reversion, warning and blocking users, deleting pages. I believe that the scale and scope of my administrative presence has been of benefit to the wiki, and this trend would hopefully continue should I be given bureaucratic rights.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

I've never been involved in an genuine edit conflict during my time on the RuneScape Players Wiki. Isolated cases of persistent vandalism have inevitably led to me reverting the same edit multiple times, but these have been dealt with in accordance with the policies of the wiki by warning or blocking offenders as required. Other users do not cause me stress in any capacity, regardless of their actions. I am not affected by disagreements or personal attacks, and will always consult with relevant policies to reach a compromise or resolution. - John Pot (talk) 21:08, February 28, 2015 (UTC)
