Article policies/guidelines:

Hours awake

Just to clarify one thing first off. I never make edits for the sake of making a change, but only if I think that it improves the article. Article improvement is really a never-ending process, there's always something you can do to improve an article. I might have issues with an article that I never really considered a few months ago.

First off, I'll start with my interpretation of the "Hours awake" section: It is the number of hours you spent awake during the relevant period, and during this period, you did not necessarily play RuneScape all day. Anyway, the reason I removed the "Hours awake" section is because it does not directly concern your Agility records (i.e., it's not relevant), based on my interpretation of the data. During this period, you may have taken a shower or done whatever. You may have not been training Agility the whole time.

A more accurate and relevant measurement would be how many hours you approximately spent training Agility. If this is the actual meaning, then this needs to be clarified. Smithing (talk | contribs) 23:47, October 30, 2013 (UTC)

The reason people can't use approximate time spent training is because it's impossible to accurately keep track of it. Hours awake is much easier. The big reason for using hours awake is due to top week and month records essentially being sleep deprivation contests. Since hours awake is the only time actually tracked by top people competing for records, it's the only relevant information available for comparing between records of different skills or training methods. The added assumption with this is that it only includes food breaks, showers, bathroom breaks, and quick chores. All other time is spent training. There are only a dozen or so records on the same tier in any skill as the ones mentioned here and the only possible way it is to know which are on the same tier is to know how many hours awake were spent. 150h+ is the current top tier for week, as nobody has yet to do 160h. Month is a bit trickier, but 600 or so is the max in that as well. It's why I used the + sign for month since I don't have a completely accurate number for them.

Anyways the end result is that the top people who set these records compare each other by the amount of hours spent awake. It's very important information to us. Also, by deleting it, anyone that randomly views my records would have no idea which record was better than which. They wouldn't know just from a glance that my Advanced Barbarian week record was better than both my Dorgesh-Kaan and FPF week records. Hours are what matter in the end and my hours awake, or rather hours not sleeping (16 hours in a week) is the really big achievement here. That was done sleeping only 2-3 hours a day. I'm going to withdraw my objection, as I was not aware of this, but I still have a concern. How is the general reader going to know why this is relevant to the article? Smithing (talk | contribs) 15:47, October 31, 2013 (UTC)

Agility Xp Section

Can we add a couple cells in a table somewhere to easily show and edit my total Agility Xp? and maybe my RSC Agility Xp too? The latter is less important imo though.
