This template is used to cite video sources.


Common form

All parameters

When copying all parameters in either the vertical or horizontal layouts, delete those which are not needed. None of the parameters should be capitalised, or the template will not work as intended.

  • date: Full date of source being referenced; in same format as other dates in the article.
  • Or, year: Year of source being referenced.
  • format: Format of the work referred to by url; examples: PDF, DOC, XLS; HTML is implied and should not be specified.
  • id: A unique identifier.
  • isbn: The International Standard Book Number; dashes in the ISBN are preferred.
  • location: Place the source was published in.
  • medium: Additional information about the media type; format in sentence case; for example: CD, Television, Video game.
  • oclc: Online Computer Library Center.
  • people: People involved in the production of the work.
  • publisher: Name of the publisher.
  • quote: Relevant text quoted from the source.
  • time: Time the event occurs in the video source.
  • title: Title of the web page.
  • url: URL of an online location where the text of the publication can be found.
    • accessdate: Full date when the URL was accessed; use the same format as other dates in the article.
      • accessmonth: Month of access.
      • accessyear: Year of access.
