The Old Nite was a RuneScape player and was a top-10 player for many years. The Old Nite was at several times, the top of the hiscore list during his time of playing the game. He was commonly battling out for first place in the early days of RuneScape with Zezima and Lilyuffie88. During the middle of 2006, The Old Nite logged out briefly during his max stats party. 

It was later confirmed by his sister that The Old Nite had died just weeks later, in May. A small gathering was held in Runescape to weep over his passing. His account was locked at the request of his son and wife shortly after his passing and remains locked until this day. However, his account still exists. This is evidenced by the fact that you are still able to add The Old Nite to your friends list.

The updated version of Jagex's dedicated statue and grave to The Old Nite. The update rendered the statue "broken," missing its arms and head, however the grave has become more ornate.
