RE:Clavinet - The Cursed You page.

Hey Clavinet, I'm glad you're interested in this situation.

Basically what happened was that on  03:25, February 18, 2016‎, a user named Curssed You made a few edits that made it appear he was either Cursed you or attempting to impersonate Cursed You. Not wanting false information to be on the page, I undid the revisions, and then left Curssed You a message that was admittedly harsh, where I told him that he needed to provide indisputable facts to prove he was Cursed You. I was sent links to two videos which failed to prove he was Cursed You, as well as a link to Imgur that had been uploaded 18 days prior, and simply showed an offences history of what appeared to be the Cursed You account.

I sent him a response saying the links provided failed to show indisputable proof of ownership of the Cursed You account. He replied with a link to his Twitch channel, offering to log into the Cursed You account while on livestream. After I confirmed in the Twitch Chat that I was there, he logged into the account and the log-in screen told him the Cursed You account was disabled - a message that only appears if the correct password is used. In addition, he private messaged people who were known to have been affiliated with Cursed You (Example: a Player Moderator named Luke), who confirmed it on the livestream.

Since this was such a high-profile player, I decided it would be best to pass the information to Smithing, who is a Wiki bureaucrat (An Admin rank that is higher than my own). Smithing responded about 16 hours ago that all the information appeared to be in order, and that it was extremely unlikely that this was an impersonation attempt - so I left a message for Curssed You saying the situation was cleared by the higher admin.

I hope this clears up any confusion you had. Once again - there's no harm in asking questions about how things are run! Kent Knifen (talk) 22:23, February 21, 2016 (UTC)

Curssed You page

Hey Clavinet,

Since Cursed You and Curssed You are the same person, the contents of the Curssed You page should go into the Cursed You page instead of having separate pages for the accounts. I specify that it should be under the Cursed You page because 1) He is better known under that username, and 2) The Cursed You page predates the Curssed You one. I've already gone ahead and moved the template over to the Cursed You page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on my talk page. Kent Knifen (talk) 19:02, February 22, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Lost/Deleted image files

Thanks for letting me know; I went ahead and restored them all. It looks like someone tried adding the images to the page after they were deleted. Smithing (talk | contribs) 04:52, February 23, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Clavinet - Articles and Notability

That guideline is rarely enforced; articles are usually not deleted because they don't meet those guidelines. If someone put a lot of effort into making an article, I doubt it's going to get deleted. Smithing (talk | contribs) 03:19, September 7, 2016 (UTC)
